Breaking: Cameroon on top of Africa

The 2019 Africa U-17 Cup of Nation reaches its climax in Dar El Salam as Cameroon is crowned Champion for the second time after a dramatic penalty shootout.

The Indomitable Lions have just won the 2019 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations. The final took place this afternoon 28 April 2019 between Cameroon and Guinea. The hardly fought game ended with a draw, prompting a penalty shootout. Holding their nerves, the young cubs led by captain Seve Mvoue followed in the footsteps of their senior brothers to impose  themselves over the equally competitive Syli National of Guinea as they emerged the victors of the coveted competition, which took place in Dar-El Salam in Tanzania.

After 2003 this is the second time the Cameroon team is holding the trophy of The Africa U-17 Cup of Nations organised every two years by the Confederation of African Football for players under 17.

Bravo les enfants. Bravo Cameroon. Allez les Lions!!!
